A wide variety of creative and flexible food options to meet the tastes and needs of the latest generation of delegates: that’s what Wyboston Lakes Resort’s Woodlands Event Centre offers now that the Olive Restaurant is open.
Together with the new Cedar Bar and Paddy & Scott’s artisan coffee fuelling stations, the extensive food and drink facilities within Wyboston Lakes Resort’s £3m investment in the transformation of The Woodlands Event Centre are now complete.
The new vibrant, Mediterranean themed Olive Restaurant serves a menu of mouth-watering creative food options to suit any event. Dishes range from fresh pizza cooked from a clay oven to pastas and salads. Seafood, lamb, steak, burger and chicken options are available directly from the grill.
An adjacent outdoor terrace, along with additional external courtyards and spaces, provides BBQ and al fresco options during warmer summer months.
The Olive Restaurant can comfortably seat up to 280 people at any one time, while private dinner events can be booked for up to 50 guests.
The Cedar Bar, located outside the Olive Restaurant, provides an informal area for guests to network, chat and do business, as well as offering a variety of light snacks such as sandwiches and paninis, which can be ordered 24 hours a day. For delegates spending the night at the Woodlands Event Centre, the Cedar Bar menu can be delivered straight to their room.
Coffee artisans Paddy & Scott’s fuelling stations, available at multiple locations and kiosks at the Woodlands Events Centre and across Wyboston Lakes Resort, will ensure delegates and guests will be fully energised throughout the day. In addition to serving high street quality coffee, the station will offer a wide range of drinks, pastries and snacks.
Louisa Watson, Director of Marketing for Wyboston Lakes Resort says: “As a multi award winning venue, we are continuously looking for new ways to deliver fresh experiences for our delegates. At Wyboston Lakes Resort we know that great food, sourced and served ‘farm to fork’, combined with first class service and accommodation go a long way towards achieving this.”
