The next exciting chapter in the SME Bedfordshire Business Awards is already well underway!
As organiser and host, we at Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce are building on the resounding success of last year’s Awards to deliver a programme worthy of successful local businesses that employ local people and serve our local communities.
As the 2025 Awards proclaim, ‘It’s Time to Celebrate You!’ – because you’re the beating heart of Bedfordshire business.
An unmissable PR opportunity
The 2024 Awards attracted the highest number of entrants ever, and this year we want to see even more local businesses showcasing their success.
The Awards can deliver huge visibility for your business, as we work our social networks, website content, email and newsletter promotions, Focus magazine features, and local, regional, and national media contacts to the max.
Expect copious exposure in the run-up, and powerful announcements of fabulous finalists and winners on the night, and in the days that follow.
Strong sponsorship firmly in place
It’s a measure of the Awards’ credibility and profile that we’ve been able to finalise all sponsors by this stage.
We’re proud that our Headline Sponsor is also a previous winner - local manufacturer Essential Workwear.
Platinum Sponsors include Aegis Support Services and Jaltek, and they’re joined by 13 Gold Sponsors – Wrest Park Business Centre, Talk UK Telecom, London Luton Airport, FKCA Limited, RSP UK, ADA Cosmetics, Liebherr GB Limited, Resourceful People Group, The Bedford College Group, Luton Council, Quest Employment, Bartham Press and Wenta.
Thanks to all the above for their support and also to our Print Sponsor, Treacle Factory, our Media Partner, Business2Businesss, and our Charity Partner, Working Options.
Enter the Awards! Here’s how…
You can enter up to three of the Awards’ 21 categories, and we make it easy for you to submit entries by putting the entry process entirely online at www.bedfordshireawards.co.uk
Entries are open now - please ensure all completed entries, and supporting information, are submitted in full by 21st March 2025.
If you’d like help to put together a knockout entry, register for our Awards Masterclass on Wednesday 5th February at Wrest Park, Silsoe, Bedfordshire to get some top tips from Awards Director Damian Cummins, Award Judges and previous winners.
When will you know if you’ve won?
Judging will take place and complete within the month of April.
After that, there will be the announcement of the finalists and then it’ll be a nail-biting couple of months as we await the unveiling of the winners, at the Awards Gala Dinner on Thursday 19th June at the Riverside Suite, Venue 360, Luton.
“Are the Awards really for my business?”
Absolutely! If your business has 250 employees or fewer, and operates in Bedfordshire, you’re eligible to enter – there are no rules around sector or industry.
And you’re not limited to company categories only – you can enter people for an Award, too. Entrepreneur of the Year, Young Business Person of the Year, and Business Person of the Year are all up for grabs.
In short, if you’ve got a success story to tell, at the Awards we want to hear about it.
