Since the early 1990s, the Forest of Marston Vale charity has been planting trees to transform the landscape and make the Marston Vale a thriving place to live, work and play. Having already planted over 1.5 million trees, the Charity has a bold vision to plant another 5 million to continue to improve the 61 square mile Forest area’s social, economic and environmental appeal.

Employees from two Chamber members are cycling from John O' Groats to Land's End to raise money for The Alzheimers Society.   Steve Collinson from Admiral,  and Duncan Jack from Workflow are hoping to raise £5000 for the charity by completing the ride of 875 miles in just four days!

Meet the East Anglian Air Ambulance Helicopter at the Rufus Centre

East Anglian Air Ambulance have a helicopter landing at Rufus Centre Saturday 6 October 2012  between 10am and 11:30am.  There will be other attractions while the helicopter is at the centre included  a WWII jeep, a miniature working steam engine and displays by various supporter companies (indoor and out) – including current confirmations by Pro Direct Beauty, the Womens Institute and Vauxhall.
