Forest of Marston Vale Christmas Tree Festival

Written by Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce | 29 Oct 2018

Since the early 1990s, the Forest of Marston Vale charity has been planting trees to transform the landscape and make the Marston Vale a thriving place to live, work and play. Having already planted over 1.5 million trees, the Charity has a bold vision to plant another 5 million to continue to improve the 61 square mile Forest area’s social, economic and environmental appeal.
Every year the Charity holds its Christmas Tree Festival on the first weekend in December (1st and 2nd this year). It’s a two-day festive celebration – stalls selling homemade gifts and crafts, Santa’s Grotto, kids’ crafts, rides and Christmas trees. There are Christmas trees available for sale, but also the Forest Centre is adorned with individually decorated trees, sponsored by local schools, organisations and businesses.

There are opportunities to support the Forest by sponsoring a Christmas tree - a 6’ tree is £40 and an 8’ £90. Your tree will feature your logo and you can either decorate it yourself to represent your brand, or the Forest team can decorate it for you.

The Charity is also looking for a sponsor for their Christmas Wish Tree, which features in the Forest Centre reception from the beginning of December. Visitors to the Forest Centre will be able to add their personalised wish ribbon to the tree.

For more information about sponsorship opportunities at the Forest of Marston Vale email Robina Ballard-Davis, Fundraising Officer.
