Exam joy for George Hay’s Joe

Written by Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce | 18 Jan 2019

Local chartered accountancy firm, George Hay, had cause for celebration just before heading into the New Year as Joe Kokotka received the news that he had passed his final ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) exams, to become a fully qualified chartered accountant.

Joe, who is based at George Hay’s Huntingdon office, has been with the firm for over six years having joined as a Trainee Accountant back in 2012.

On finding out he had passed, Joe said: “I am absolutely delighted to have passed my final exams.”

“It is what I have been working towards since starting my career in accountancy and to know that all my hard work has been worth it is really rewarding. This is definitely my greatest personal achievement to date!”

Partner at the Huntingdon office, Barry Jefferd, had this to say about Joe’s exam success: “Joe’s exam pass was well deserved. We know he has worked extremely hard and he is a very popular member of our team, both with staff and clients.”

“We look forward to him using his qualification going forward; to not only strengthen the Huntingdon office further, but also to reach his own potential.”
