As the Head of Meetings & Events at Wyboston Lakes Resort, Lydia will take the lead in driving the team forward, ensuring revenue targets are exceeded, the event diary is filled with great experiences, and clients receive unparalleled service. Lydia brings to the role more than 12 years of experience in planning and delivering outstanding events mostly recently with the historic Royal Institution of Great Britain and Rothamsted Enterprises. Her career began at English Heritage where Lydia curated large-scale public events that included jousts and battles. Lydia's experience further expanded when working in corporate events at a major London-based agency. There she orchestrated award ceremonies and Christmas parties for up to 2000 guests, looking after clients such as Deloitte, Pret a Manger and McLaren. In her next role as Deputy Head of Events for The Scouts, Lydia honed her expertise in managing events across two diverse venues. Christine Gomez, Director of Revenue at Wyboston Lakes Resort, expressed her enthusiasm for Lydia's appointment, saying, "We are delighted to welcome Lydia to our dynamic team.
