Woods Hardwick shortlisted for Royal Town Planning Institute Awards

Woods Hardwick Planning have this week been shortlisted for the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) Awards for Planning Excellence 2023. 

The team is up for Small Planning Consultancy of the Year alongside DAC Planning, Lawson Planning Partnership Ltd and Sphere25 in the East of England category.

The winners will be revealed at the Riding School on the historical Hatfield House Estate grounds on 22 June 2023.

Woods Hardwick Planning, whose central team are based in Bedford, have been shortlisted for its ability to manage multi-disciplinary projects – particularly with wider Woods Hardwick departments across architecture, engineering and surveying.  

The planning team has also been acknowledged for their creative approach to delivering planning solutions, providing high levels of client and stakeholder satisfaction, continued business and staff development and its commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion.

The RTPI East of England Awards for Planning Excellence 2023 showcase and celebrate the best plans, people and projects. 

The awards recognise and highlight the positive contribution planning professionals make in the communities around the UK.

The RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence has 15 national award categories. Entries in the East of England are initially judged and awarded as:

•    Best Plan
•    Best Project
•    Planning Authority of the Year
•    Small Planning Consultancy of the Year
•    Young Planner of the Year

The winners in the East of England awards are then entered as national finalists.

The shortlisted entries are put through for judging in the national awards and will be judged against the others in their selected categories for the national finalist list. 

The remaining five categories are also judged to complete the national finalist list of 15 categories. The winners and commendations are announced at the national ceremony in November.
