To date, it has helped businesses win around £90 million in new business.  This year the event will: - Connect businesses with each other: Heathrow will be hosting workshops in each of the five priority boroughs of Ealing, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Slough and Spelthorne to give local SMEs the opportunity to meet and trade with one another. - Connect businesses with the airport: Working directly with procurement managers the Business Summit will enable more SMEs to explore wider opportunities with airport businesses by opening more sub-contracting opportunities for large-scale services. - Connect businesses to the world: In partnership with UK Trade and Investment the Business Summit will support UK SMEs to access High Value Opportunities across the world making the most of supply, export and growth opportunities through the airport. This one-day event will consist of 15-minute meetings that will connect you with procurement managers from large national and international companies based in and around the airport, to discuss potential new contracts or other business prospects. You will also have the opportunity to hear details of Heathrow’s new five-year business plan.
