Just short of £1 million was spent on updating conference suites, the reception area, bar, lounge and back entrance, as well as a soft renovation on guest bedrooms. The town centre hotel overlooks the River Great Ouse and is fast establishing itself as the prime venue for meetings, conferences and events in Bedford. It’s also a popular dining location due to the fantastic River views from the first floor restaurant which is also very popular for Sunday lunches. **This modern and contemporary hotel will be hosting a complimentary afternoon tea on Sunday 3rd February 2013. 11am till 4pm. Open to the general public and local businesses to view the refurbishment at their own leisure. ** The Park Inn By Radisson Bedford is one of 23 hotels within the UK and Irish portfolio operated by the Rezidor Hotel Group, a number of which have recently gone under significant refurbishment in recent months. One of the fastest growing hotel groups in the world, Rezidor operates the brands; Hotel Missoni, Park Inn by Radisson and Radisson Blu in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and has successfully grown the Park Inn by Radisson brand to over 120 hotels open to date.
