Your Future

Written by Paula Devine | 28 Oct 2015

Chambers of Commerce across the UK are participating in a government funded project - Your Future. Bedfordshire Chamber will be holding two of these events on 19th November 2015 at Kings House, Bedford and 25th February 2016 at UK Centre for Carnival Arts, Luton from 9am to 4pm.

These events are for young people aged 14-24 to inspire, enthuse and motivate them to think about prospective careers, the employment options available to them and to make the most of their remaining time in education.

We are looking for local key businesses to exhibit at either one or both events. As an exhibitor you will not only gain exposure to hundreds of local young people and a variety of schools, you will also have the chance to network with the various other organisations attending. We feel that our Bedfordshire organisations can provide the young people attending with ideas on how they can widen their ideas for their future career.

In order for everyone to get the most out of the Your Future event, and to inspire young people attending, we are suggesting that businesses bring along a ‘Have a Go’ memorable and interactive activity for the young people to get involved in?

We are aiming for 700 young people to attend each event, which will be a fantastic opportunity for businesses to not only showcase their organisation, its products and services, but also to encourage young people to want to work for organisations.

We hope that you can be a part of Your Future and inspire, enthuse and motivate the young people attending in order for them to make an informed career decision.

If you have any questions or would like more information, please do not hesitate to contact us at info@chamber-business.com or call 01582 522448 and speak to either Paula, Justin or Sue.
