What is Export Office service?
This unique service supports exporters with their International Transactions, by arranging shipment of their goods and preparing the appropriate export documentation.
Who uses the Export Office service?
Available to all exporters regardless of location, the service covers shipments for which settlement is affected by Open Account, Letters of Credit or Cash Against Documents.
What does the service provide?
- Arrangement of freight, insurance and (where required) inspection of goods.
- Liaison with packers and freight forwarders to ensure that goods are shipped in accordance with the contract, and that transport documents are issued correctly.
- Preparation of all documentation related to the transaction
- Ensuring the importer receives all document required
- Where payment is by Letter of Credit, lodging all documents with the bank, and distributing documents as appropriate.
