Help Desk and Export Advice Line

We offer support and guidance on all elements of export and international trade, helping you reach new markets and achieve prompt delivery of your goods and payments.  Our experienced staff are on hand 8.30am until 5.00pm Monday to Friday to answer any questions you may have. 

The Export Office Service

If you lack the in-house resource to manage the administration of exporting - or you are a larger firm wishing to outsource this activity - the Chamber can offer a comprehensive Export Office service.

Export Documentation Service

Our fast export documentation service is aimed at helping companies achieve error-free documentation to clear their goods from customs and receive payment. There is a substantial 50% discount for Chamber members.

Letter of Credit Service

If you get paid by Letters of Credit for your exported goods, why not let us take the hassle out of it for you?  We deliver a professional letter of credit service where we take, coordinate and produce all your documents and present to the bank on your behalf, helping you get paid quicker. 

Chamber Translation

The importance of promoting your product/service in the language of the country you are selling to should not be underestimated.  The last reason why you should not make that communication effort is cost.  Chamber Translation Services aim to bring all exporters a unique translated leaflet service at an extremely competitive price. Tender Opportunities

Would you like to have up to date tender and procurement opportunities thay match your exact specifications sent directly to your desktop?  Our tender alert services can help you access hundreds of public tenders from Europe, US, Japan and other international markets.

Sales Agreement

Despite the clear need for protection against pro agent and distributor legislation introduced in many overseas markets, many companies are trading with out-of-date agreements and in some cases no agreements at all.  We can help offer guidance and support with your sales agreements.

E Cert and A Cert

Exporters and freight forwarders can now apply for European Certificates (e-cert),  Arab British Certifications of Origin (a-cert) and invoices using our online E Cert and A Cert process.

Training

We offer a range of export training courses including Export Documentation, Letters of Credit, Customs and Excise and Basic Export and Import Procedures. There is a reduced fee for members. 

International Trade Services

We offer a package of subsidised services designed to help at every stage of the export process - market research, finding agents/distributors, attending organised visits, overseas publicity and overcoming language barriers.

The Export Files Newsletters

We issue a bi-monthly electronic newsletter for exporters in the area. Each issue contains up-to-the-minute information on:
