Westfield Health Scheme
Westfield is an affordable healthcare cash plan for employees and starts at as little as £1 a week. The plan offers three levels of cover - £1.00, £2.00 or £3.00 per employee and per week - and premiums are not age or claim related. The plan provides 100% reimbursement on all benefits and covers pre-existing conditions.
In return for these weekly contributions paid by the employer, the employee can claim tax-free lump sums for routine healthcare that includes optical, dental, physiotherapy, consultation and therapy treatments. Individual counselling for employees is also available by means of a Family Care Counselling Helpline, which is available 24 hours a day, plus up to five face to face counselling sessions. In addition, the plan includes permanent disability and accidental death cover.
Treatments range from dentists and opticians, though in-patient and day care surgery, recuperation and convalescence, to chiropody, acupuncture and osteopathy. Click here for more information.
