Up to 18 million working days are lost each year due to sickness caused by workplace bullying

Employers can be held legally liable for bullting by their employees even if they are not aware of it

In 2006 a court awarded an employee £800,000 as damages to compensate for bullying she was subjected to be work colleagues, which the employer had to pay
