Lobbying and Representation
The Chambers provide a voice on issues affecting businesses in the Bedfordshire region, helping to create an environment in which they can flourish. We lobby on your behalf on issues such as transport, taxation and business crime and build and maintain strong links with a number of key bodies including:

- Civil servants
- Advantage West Midlands
- Economic development forums
- Other business organisations and agencies.
Work Based Learning Schemes
We are very passionate about the support and services we offer to both employers and individuals regarding work based learning. Apprenticeships and NVQ schemes provide excellent opportunities for learners to gain qualifications whilst working, and for employers by addressing skills shortages and helping to develop motivated and loyal staff. We provide support throughout the scheme by:
- helping candidates find suitable placement opportunities
- helping employers fill work based learning positions within their organisation
- proactively supporting and encouraging learners for the duration of their placement.
