Apprenticeships
Apprenticeships are an ideal opportunity for both employee and learner to develop skills relevant to their industry and organisation whilst earning money and gaining nationally recognised qualifications. The Chamber has a dedicated team of advisers who help both businesses and individuals to take part in a range of work based learning activities.
Benefits from Work Based Learning
Benefits of work based learning to the employer:
Introducing Work Based Learning schemes to your organisation ensures you create a highly developed workforce with practical skills and experience relevant to your business. No matter how large or small your organisation, Work Based Learning Apprenticeships and NVQs give you the chance to develop the skilled staff you need for your business. At the end of the scheme you gain motivated and committed staff who are trained in the skills for your business tomorrow. We also assist young people who are looking for apprentice placements and can therefore help employers who have vacancies, thus saving both time and the expense of advertising.
